192 THUNDERBOLT
The original Racing Motor built by Repco in Brisbane back in the early 80's it was bored from a 179 to a 192 the whole motor was a Yella Terra right down to the sump which had an extra Litre..I paid about $700 back then..The whole engine was painted yellow with chrome trimmings, internals were built for racing pistons,solid lifters the camshaft really startd to kick in at 4000rpm & had no trouble going to 8000rpm..The house used to vibrate & I needed a tractor battery to turn it.
